Best Coconut Shake Recipe

Refreshing coconut shake made with coconut milk, coconut flakes, vanilla ice cream, honey and ice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream
  • ½ shredded coconut
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 tsp honey or other sweetener

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients except ice in a blender and blend. Add ice little by little until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Transfer to a fancy cup and add an umbrella.

Notes

  • omit the vanilla ice cream and make it less sugary
  • you can use low fat coconut milk but then the shake will be watery. But this may be how you like it.
  • give to kids only once in a while due to high sugar and saturated fat content 
  • can be made with other plant based milks such as soy, oat or almond. It won't taste as coconuty but will still be good.
