Easy delicious homemade strawberry milk recipe that can be made in 2 different ways, with sugar or without and using either frozen or fresh strawberries. Great drink for kids and adults.
By blending fresh strawberries (sugar-free version)
This is a sugar-free healthy strawberry milk option.
In a high speed blender combine strawberries, milk and salt (and sweetener if using)
Blend until smooth and serve.
By using strawberry syrup
Wash the strawberries and trim the greens.
In a saucepan combine strawberries, sugar, water.
Bring to boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Once the mixture is reduced and combined, remove from the stove.
Take a fine mesh strainer and strain the mixture through a funnel into a bottle or glass container where you will keep the strawberry syrup in. (You could also blend it in a high speed blender).
Add 4 tablespoon of strawberry syrup per cup of milk and combine to get delicious drink.
Store the syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
