Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp water to cook the strawberries in

Instructions

  • Place the strawberries in a saucepan and cover them with water. Heat over medium low heat for about 10 minutes until the strawberries are soft and mushy. If you are using frozen strawberries rinse them first to get any frost off and then it may take a few minutes longer. Also add sweetener when cooking the frozen strawberries.
  • Add them to the yogurt and mix and you get a beautiful pink yogurt.

Notes

  • you can add sweetener such as agave syrup, maple syrup, date syrup or honey. Start with one teaspoon and add more as needed. Only give honey to babies over 1 years old
  • store in fridge for 3 days or freezer up to 3 months
  • plain greek yogurt can be replaced with vegan yogurt, goat's yogurt, sheep's yogurt, plain yogurt or any other variety
