Ingredients

  • 4 bananas overripe
  • 1 ½ cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup peanut butter smooth
  • ½ cup chocolate chips dark

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C / 360°F.
  • Prepare a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper. 
  • Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork or a potato masher. 
  • Transfer to a large mixing bowl and add the peanut butter and flour. 
  • Mix with a silicone spatula or a whisk. 
  • Now gently fold in the dark chocolate chips into the banana bread batter. 
  • Transfer into the prepared loaf pan and level the surface with the spatula. 
  • Put into the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes. 
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let sit in the loaf pan for about 5 minutes. 
  • Take out from the loaf pan and leave the loaf to cool on a wire rack. 
  • Remove the parchment paper and slice before serving.
