Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats or quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk animal or plant-based
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 egg organic and/or free-range
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius / 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • Gently grease an 8 x 8 inches (20 x 20 centimeters) pan or line with parchment paper. 
  • Mix all the wet ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. 
  • In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. 
  • Now add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently with a silicone spatula or a whisk.  
  • Pour into the pan and even the surface with your spatula. 
  • Bake for about 40 minutes. 
  • Once baked, allow to cool in the pan. 
  • Slice once cooled and serve.
