Healthy Crispy Baked Carrot Chips

25 minutes to make these incredible Baked Carrot Chips that your kids will love. Just coat some carrot slices in olive oil and garlic powder, place them on a baking sheet and in 25 minutes you can have a healthy snack or a delicious side dish for your baby, toddler or yourself.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz carrots
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220℃/450℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  • Wash and scrub the whole carrots. You can peel the carrots but you also don't need to. ​Use paper towels or a clean dish cloth to dry them. 
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the carrots diagonally as paperthin and you can get them (you can also try using a mandolin slicer).
  • Place the carrot slices in a large bowl, add olive oil, garlic powder and salt and coat them. 
  • Take each carrot slice and place them in a single layer on the parchment paper. 
  • Bake for about 20 minutes until you have crispy chips.
