Put the prunes into a bowl and cover with hot water.
Allow to soak for at least 30 minutes.
Once soaked and the prunes are soft enough to mash, transfer the prunes into a blender or food processor and add 2 tablespoons of the water used for soaking.
Blend and if needed keep adding tablespoon by tablespoon of the water until you have a smooth homemade baby food prune puree.
Once you reach a smooth consistency, transfer the puree into a bowl.
