Ingredients

Labelled ingredients on a white background.
  • Pitted Dates - The natural sweetness of dates acts as a healthier alternative to refined sugars
  • Greek Yogurt - Packed with protein and probiotics, Greek yogurt not only adds creaminess but also enhances the nutritional profile of these popsicles.
  • Cacao Powder - The star ingredient, cacao powder, brings the rich chocolate flavor without the added sugar found in conventional chocolate treats.
  • Vanilla Extract - Adding a touch of vanilla extract enhances the overall flavor, providing a delightful twist to the chocolatey goodness.
  • Peanut Butter or Hazelnut Butter - A little bit of nut butter not only contributes to the creamiest texture but also introduces healthy fats for a more satisfying treat.

FAQ

Can I use regular yogurt instead of Greek yogurt?

While Greek yogurt provides a creamier texture and higher protein content, regular yogurt can be substituted based on personal preference.

Are silicone molds better than conventional molds for these popsicles?

It depends on your preference. Silicone molds are flexible and easy to remove, while conventional molds with popsicle sticks offer a classic touch.

Can I reduce the freezing time for a quicker snack?

It's best to freeze for at least 4-6 hours for the creamiest texture. However, you can check after 4 hours if you're in need of a quick chocolate fix.
