  • Made with simple whole foods, no added sugar
  • Made in 10 minutes

Ingredients

To make this delicious vegan pudding, you will need the following simple ingredients:

Labelled ingredients on a white background
  • Ripe Bananas: Fresh bananas provide the perfect natural sweetness to the pudding, enhancing its flavor.
  • Rolled Oats: These oats add a wholesome texture to the pudding while providing essential nutrients.
  • Plant-based Milk (such as almond milk, soy milk or oat milk): Opt for a non-dairy milk for a vegan twist and a creamy consistency.
  • Chia Seeds: Chia seeds not only contribute to the pudding's texture but also offer a nutritional boost.
  • Peanut Butter: Introduce a subtle nutty flavor to the mix, enhancing the overall taste of the pudding. If you are using a store-bought option, make sure it doesn't have added palm oil or salt.

See recipe card for quantities.

FAQ

What Makes Bananas Not Turn Brown in Pudding?

If you don't want your bananas turning brown in your pudding, you can add some lemon juice. But, it might add kind of a sour taste. The browning doesn't cause any loss of nutrients or taste so if you are not bothered by the color, I would advise to leave it as is.

How Do You Thicken Pudding For Banana Pudding?

You can add more rolled oats to thicken but also seeds such as flaxseed or chia seeds.

What Pudding Mix Is Vegan?

Any pudding mix that doesn't have any products of animal origin (eggs, animal-based milk, butter, white chocolate) is a vegan pudding mix.
